Functions Manager

Our Functions department now seeks an experienced Functions Manager to join the team.  With 7 function rooms of varying size, we can cater for all types of meetings, training sessions and celebrations up to 200 sit down and a large annual event for 450 cocktail style.  You will be able to build a strong rapport with current and potential clients and work closely with our Contract Caterer to ensure the function’s success.  This is also a hands-on role requiring you to lead the Functions Service team during function service.  We have lots of loyal clients and repeat business with a busy calendar of bookings already for the next 6 months.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Converting function enquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Liaison with clients
  • Liaison with Contract Caterer and other Club staff
  • Supervising and leading functions staff
  • Invoicing clients
  • Marketing and promotion of functions facilities
