Squadron Leader Del Gaudry RAAF, Member of Penrith RSL sub – Branch & Director Penrith RSL Club.

Del first joined the Air Force as a WRAAF Clerk Supply – stayed in for 2.5 yrs. She rejoined again after completing a Bachelor of Social Science as a Logistics Officer and left in 1994 to remain in the Air Force Reserves.

In 2006 Del undertook Continuous Full Time Service (still in the Reserves) in the role of State Manager of Defence Reserves Support (DRS) NSW for 3.5 years.

Del still an Air Force Reservist and has worked in several different Reserve jobs in the Sydney area, including:
– Compliance and Assurance Officer
– Western Sydney Regional Manager for Defence Reserves Support
– The Women’s Integrated Network Group (WINGs) Coordinator for Richmond/Glenbrook Air Bases for 3 yrs.
– Staff Officer – Women, Peace and Security (UNSCR 1325)
– Strategic Planning and Cultural reform Staff Officer

More recently Del has moved into the role of national Member Support Coordinator in the Directorate of Personnel. She is also a Trainee Coach and in the process of completing her Cert 4 in Coaching.

In between her stints in the Air Force, Del spent several years in private enterprise in the field of Human Resources. She worked in senior roles for Bunzl Limited, Visy Recycling, PacificBrands and Mobil.

Del has been Director on the Penrith RSL Board for almost 3 years. She spent many years on the Board of Western Sydney Business Connection, including the role of President.
