I am happy to report that 2013 was a very successful year for the Club with great results, we achieved a significant increase in revenue and profit which exceeded forecast expectations.
Our success continued with membership to the Club increasing by over seven thousand new members in 2013, along
with the entire first floor of the Club undergoing refurbishment, which created a modern, warm, relaxing and welcoming
environment for all members and guests.
As 2013 was a year of growth, 2014 will be a year of planning and strategies setting the scene for the long term bigger picture of the Club, which will include continued enhancements to products and services, and the identification of new and exciting opportunities for the Club and its future. On a strategic level, the Club has approved BDO Consultants to facilitate the completion of the Club’s Master Plan. This Master Plan is critical to the growth of the business and will include development opportunities of the entire club site, the clubs investment properties and the relocation of the existing Sports Lounge.
I would like to thank the Board of Directors, Staff and especially the members of Penrith RSL for their continued support and commitment to the success of our Club.
