  • The promotion will commence on Tuesday 2nd October 2018 at 9.00am EDT

  • Entries for the promotion will close on Saturday 1st December 2018 at 6.30pm EDT

 

  • The promotion will be drawn on Saturday 1st December from 7.00pm EDT

 

Means of Entry

 

Membership

 

  • From Tuesday 2nd October 2018, become a member of Penrith RSL Club during the promotional period and receive one entry ticket for each year of membership.

 

  • From Tuesday 2nd October 2018 extend or top-up your membership at Penrith RSL Club during the promotional period and receive one entry ticket for each additional year added to your current membership.

 

  • From Tuesday 2nd October 2018 renew your membership at Penrith RSL Club during the promotional period and receive one entry ticket for each renewed year of membership.

 

  • Changes, amendments and extensions to memberships made prior to Tuesday 2nd October 2018 will not be considered valid to enter the promotion. A transaction resulting in the extension of current membership must take place during the promotional period for an entry ticket to be issued. Entry tickets will be issued on the extended period of membership only.

 

Visitation

 

  • Members may swipe their membership card at the member’s rewards terminal to receive one entry ticket into the promotion during each of the following swipe periods:

 

    • 9.00am to 12.00 midday
    • 12.00 midday to 3.00pm
    • 3.00pm to 6.00pm
    • 6.00pm to 10.00pm
    • From 10.00pm to close of business, two tickets per member per hour may be issued.

 

  • Members may swipe their membership card at the member’s rewards terminal during the above swipe periods, on every day in which Penrith RSL Club is open for trading, during the promotional period.

 

  • Terminal tickets must be placed into the nominated barrel.

 

  • If the member’s rewards terminal is not working, entry via this mechanism will not be valid for the period of down time.

 

  • Membership cards must be presented at all stages of the promotion.

 

  • Membership cards are non-transferrable.

 

How to Play

 

  • Members will be required to place their entry tickets in the promotional barrels located at Penrith RSL Club, 8 Tindale Street Penrith NSW 2750.

 

  • Tickets in the Promotional Barrels located throughout the club will be transferred to the nominated promotional barrel located in the Waves Lounge on a regular basis.

 

  • If the member’s rewards terminal is not working, entry via this mechanism will not be valid for the period of down time.

 

  • It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure that the details on the tickets are correct and to place their entry in the correct Promotional barrel.

 

  • Under no circumstances will an entry ticket be replaced once the Member has left the Reception Desk, Bar or Promotion Desk.

 

Minor Draws

 

  • At 6.00pm each Saturday during the promotional period, the promotional barrel next to the member’s swipe kiosk will be emptied into the nominated major draw barrel.

 

  • Each Saturday night during the promotional period, excluding Saturday 1st December 2018, a ticket will be drawn from the waves members kiosk promotional barrel for the chance to win a ‘Key’ or guaranteed place in the major draw.

 

  • The draw will take place between 10.00pm and 10.15pm each Saturday during the promotional period, excluding Saturday 1st December 2018.

 

  • Only entry tickets that are time stamped, dated and placed into the nominated barrel between 6.00pm and 10.00pm on the same night as the draw will be considered valid.

 

  • Any tickets that are drawn from the barrel that are dated or time stamped for another date or time period will be discarded.

 

  • The name and badge number recorded on the ticket will be checked on the Penrith RSL Club’s EBET computer system to ensure the winning ticket belongs to a valid and financial Member.

 

  • Any ticket drawn that belongs to a Member who has had any citations, disciplinary actions or cancellations against their Membership during the promotional period will be declared invalid at the time of the draw.

 

  • If the entry ticket is deemed invalid, the ticket will be kept aside and marked as invalid with the reason recorded and initialled by a Club Manager.

 

  • If the ticket is valid, the winner will be announced over the Club’s PA system.

 

  • Members will have 4 minutes from the time of the announcement to present themselves to the MC.

 

  • Members must be within the Penrith RSL Club premises at the time of the draw to be eligible to win.

 

  • If the member is not identified within the 4 minute period, they will forfeit their prize. No further draws will take place during this promotion period.

 

  • If the member does identify themselves during the 4 minute period they will be granted an automatic place, or “Key” in the Major Draw, on Saturday 1st December 2018.

 

Major Draw

 

Barrel Draws – Entries and Barrel Closure

 

  • At 6.00pm EDT on Saturday 1st December 2018, the Rewards Kiosk will cease to issue visitation tickets into the promotion.

 

  • Between 6.00pm and 6.45pm on Saturday 1st December 2018 Members must approach staff at the nominated collection desk to receive visitation tickets into the promotion.  Membership cards must be sighted at all times

 

  • Between 6.00pm and 6.45pm Saturday 1st December 2018, one entry ticket per member per hour will be issued.

 

  • Penrith RSL Club reserves the right to record the badge numbers of participants whilst issuing visitation entry tickets for the promotion, between 6.00pm and 6.45pm on Saturday 1st December 2018.

 

  • Penrith RSL Club reserves the right to refer to the list of participant’s badge numbers to monitor the number of tickets issued to each person, between 6.00pm and 6.45pm on Saturday 1st December 2018.

 

  • At 6.45pm on Saturday 1st December 2018, all entry tickets into the promotion will cease to be issued and all tickets will be consolidated into one barrel and the barrel will be sealed.

 

Barrel Draws – Existing Placeholders

 

  • At 7.00pm on Saturday 1st December 2018, the MC will call for any existing Major Draw place holders to identify themselves to promotional staff and management.

 

  • Members will have 4 minutes form the time of the announcement to identify themselves.

 

  • If the member identifies themselves within 4 minutes of the announcement they will be informed that they are in the Major Draw with a guaranteed key, to take place once all other place holders have been identified and the barrel draws have concluded.

 

  • If a pre-existing place holder does not present themselves within 4 minutes from the announcement they will forfeit their spot in the Major Draw and their position or “Key” will be redrawn from the barrel.

 

Barrel Draws – Remaining Placeholders

 

  • Barrel draws will be conducted from the nominated promotional barrel to find the participants in the Major Draw.

 

  • The name and badge number recorded on the ticket will be checked on the Penrith RSL Club’s EBET computer system to ensure the winning ticket belongs to a valid and financial Member.

 

  • Any ticket drawn that belongs to a Member who has had any citations, disciplinary actions or cancellations against their Membership during the promotional period will be declared invalid at the time of the draw.

 

  • If the entry ticket is deemed invalid, the ticket will be kept aside and marked as invalid with the reason recorded and initialled by a Club Manager.

 

  • If the ticket is valid, the winner will be announced over the Club’s PA system.

 

  • Members will have 4 minutes from the time of the announcement to present themselves to the MC.

 

  • Members must be within the Penrith RSL Club premises at the time of the draw to be eligible to win.

 

  • If the Member presents themselves to claim their prize within 4 minutes of the announcement, they will be instructed that they have been selected for the major draw, to take place following the close of the barrel draws.

 

  • If the winner does not present themselves within 4 minutes of the announcement, they will forfeit their place and an immediate re-draw will take place.

 

  • Existing place holders that are present at the draw must be identified prior to the commencement of the barrel draws.

 

  • The number of existing place holders will determine the number of remaining place holders that must be identified from the barrel draws on Saturday 1st December 2018.

 

  • A total of 15 Major Draw place holders must be identified.

 

  • One entry per member will be valid.

 

Major Draw – Win a Car for Christmas

 

  • There will be a promotional box set up at the draw location. Inside the promotional box will be the keys to the Hyundai Accent.

 

  • The promotional box will be secured with a locked padlock.
  • All 15 Major Draw place holders will be recalled to the promotional area over the Club’s PA.
  • Major Draw place holders will have 4 minutes from the time of the announcement to identify themselves to promotional staff.
  • If they do not produce themselves within 4 minutes of the announcement they will forfeit their place in the Major Draw and a redraw will take place from the nominated promotional barrel.
  • Once all 15 Major Draw participants are identified as present, the Major Draw will begin.
  • In a box there will be 15 keys, one of which will open the padlock securing the Hyundai’s keys.

 

  • In order of identification, each winner will select a key one at a time, once a key is selected and does not open the lock, the key will be returned to a separate container.
  • In order of identification refers to the order in which place-holders were identified during the entire promotional period, including the minor draws.
    • This means that existing place-holders that were identified before the Major Draw will get to select their key before the place-holders identified on the night of the Major Draw.
    • If an existing place holder fails to produce themselves within 4 minutes of them being called and a redraw for their place occurs, the winner of the redraw will select their key last.

 

  • The first key holder to successfully unlock the padlock will win the Hyundai Accent Sport 1.6L Auto 5 Door Hatch, displayed in the foyer of Penrith RSL Club.
  • All remaining key holders who are unsuccessful in their attempt to unlock the padlock will receive a consolation prize of $100 cash.

 

  • The Hyundai Accent prize is the car as displayed in the Penrith RSL Tindale Street foyer, for the duration of the promotion. The winner will accept the prize in the condition that it is in at the time of the draw.

 

  • The Hyundai Accent prize includes Registration, Compulsory Third Party Insurance, Plates and Stamp Duty. Any further costs pertaining to the prize once it has been claimed are the sole responsibility of the winner.

 

  • The winner’s details will be provided to Sinclair Hyundai Jamisontown , Cnr York & Batt Street Jamisontown, NSW 2750

 

  • The displayed Hyundai Accent will be removed from Penrith RSL Club by Hyundai Jamisontown by close of business on Monday 3rd December 2018 and re-located to the Sinclair Hyundai Jamisontown dealership. Further collection details and arrangements may be made directly between the winner and Sinclair Hyundai Jamisontown

 

  • If the winner does not have a current valid driver’s license or cannot register the prize themselves for any other reason that pertains to NSW RTA requirements, written permission from the winner will be needed in order to register the prize to a person of their choosing.

 

  • If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal value, subject to any written directions from the lottery authorities.

 

  • Once the prize has been claimed, the prize winner also accepts all costs, responsibilities and future requirements for that prize. Penrith RSL Club accepts no responsibility for the prize once the prize has been claimed.

 

  • Once the winner has claimed their prize they will have 7 days to arrange collection and transportation of this Prize. Responsibility for arranging the collection and transportation of this prize lies solely with the prize winner.

    • Any Person under 18 years of age
    • Any person that has been banned or suspended from Penrith RSL Club during the promotional period
    • Any person who has been denied a Membership from Penrith RSL Club during the promotional period.
    • Any person who has gained entry into the promotion through dishonest or deceptive means

 

  • Penrith RSL Club reserves the right to refuse entry into the promotion or to refuse prize payment to any person found to have engaged in dishonest conduct or who has attempted to deliberately break the terms and conditions of the promotion.

 

  • Entry is only available from Penrith RSL Club.

 

  • This promotion is only available to financial members of Penrith RSL Club.

 

  • No cash prizes will be issued between the hours of 10.00pm and 6.00am.

 

  • Membership cards must be presented at all stages of this promotion.

 

  • All decisions are final and are at the discretion of Penrith RSL Club Management.

 

  • Prizes are not transferrable, cannot be substituted or exchanged for another item or redeemed for cash.
