The Nepean Valley RSL Day Club is now open and presents a fantastic new addition to the Penrith community. Locals now have the opportunity to meet each Wednesday from 10am-2pm in the Salvation Army Hall at Glenmore Park for social, health and wellbeing group exercises and activities.

WHAT HAPPENS AT A DAY CLUB

Each Day Club provides social and activity opportunities for older people, mostly still living at home, but who are unable to attend more active programs offered in their local community.

Each week the volunteers will provide members with a varied fun-filled program including gentle exercise, mental stimulation, leisure activities, card games, guest speakers and entertainment, as well as morning tea and lunch.

The Nepean Valley RSL Day Club is sponsored by the City of Penrith RSL sub-Branch and operates with some assistance from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs; however, you don’t have to be a veteran to join the Nepean Valley RSL Day Club; its open to everyone!
