Penrith RSL Club will officially open its new Café 53, lounge area and new open air terrace this Friday, December 11th at 2pm.
The Club has been undergoing renovations for the last 12months, extending its Atrium area on the first floor. This was very closely followed by the renovations of Café 53, which now has a bigger kitchen and seating area, catering perfectly for casual dining. Now included on the menu is a large gelato bar and pancakes.
Penrith RSL Clubs’ first floor was then given a revamp, with a lounge
area providing a range of seating options for patrons; new screens,
to watch all your favourite events; a new gaming fl oor layout, and
beautiful new carpet and furnishings.
Sporting fans will also be pleased to know that the TAB, on the lower ground fl oor has moved closer to the Castlereagh Street entrance, with a bigger layout, more screens and seating. The ground fl oor now accommodates 12 gaming machines, snooker tables, 3 large screens and a brand new open air terrace on the south/east side of the building, complete with screens so you don’t miss any of the sporting action.
The Mayor Kevin Crameri OAM, officially opened our new
renovations and extensions on Friday 11th January.
The Board and Management team will welcome many special guests;
some of whom have been instrumental in assisting with the new
developments of Penrith RSL Club.
Our Chairman, Mr Neville Barnier, will also
announce the Clubs’ new
CEO, Mr Ron Aurelius, who commences on January 4th 2010. Ron is
no stranger to Penrith; he has lived and worked in Penrith for many
years. Mr Aurelius has recently resigned from Bell Lawyers, where he
has worked as a commercial Lawyer for many years. Ron Aurelius is
looking forward to leading his team and continuing to grow Penrith
RSL.
The Club has over 22000 members who regularly enjoy the Clubs’
facilities. Casual dining has taken on a whole “new face” at the Club,
which compliments its renowned FREE live weekly entertainment of
Jazz, Country, Contemporary and Flashback 80’s
