Hi Everyone,
I'm pleased to say 2009 has been a successful Year for the Travel Club with 21 New Members joining us throughout the year and several waiting to join for 2010. Our New Brochure is now available with all our 2010 trips mapped out and we look forward to a great 30th Anniversary Year for the Club.
We have had a really good response to our trips, and required two coaches on six of our trips.
The 5 day Easter trip to the New England area went well, and for 2010 this trip is to "La Fiesta" at Griffith which is a Food & Wine Festival, leaving Friday 2nd April, 2010 to 6th April.
Our Weekend away was to Nowra, where we went Whale watching as well as lots of other things. 2010s Weekend away is to Bathurst and again will be full of things to do. This trip will be in May before it gets too cold up that way.
The 13 day tour of the Kimberley Region was fantastic, and those who went had a wonderful time. 9 days - Lakes and Wilderness is on the agenda for 2010 in October, so will be a great place to be for Spring.
Day trips on the 4th Sunday of each Month are our specialty, where we enjoy all types of venues with tours entry fees and most lunches included in the price.
We are a great club and have very enjoyable times together wherever we go, so why not join us. To join the Travel Club you must be a member of the Parent Club, Penrith RSL.
