(From L to R) Club Members: (the late) Jim Kinder, Bob Baxter and Rudi Isbitzki,
on a deep sea trip to remember at Kiama about 4 years ago.Note the beautiful fish.
"quiet". Everyone seems to have been able to bring home a feed of fish, but nothing
like both the quality and quantities that we all came to expect in years gone by.
Taking the good with the bad has always been the lot of the amateur fisherman,
and we all accept that philosophy. But it would be great to write that on a particular
trip we all brought home heaps. Better luck for all concerned on the next time…
At time of writing, our former Fishing Club President Noel Horwood,
is in hospital. All members send him a cheerio and wish him well. Life
Member Ray Connolly was also in hospital recently just before Easter.
It seemed very unusual to be on a recent trip without his company.
Don't make a habit of it Ray.
Our next monthly meeting is Wednesday 02-04-08 beginning at
7.30 pm . This will be followed by Saturday 05-04-08 by our Annual
Presentation Night and Dinner. These are generally good nights for
getting together to remember last year's fishing highlights and to have
a good few laughs in the process.
Until next time. Tight lines
Pete Aggett, Secretary
